About Thomas M. Baxa
Thomas M. Baxa (often known as Tom Baxa) is an American fantasy/horror illustrator whose career spans 30+ years, with a reputation for visceral creature design and gritty, story-driven imagery.
He grew up in the Chicago suburbs and later became active in the Los Angeles art scene, where he’s associated with the LA Dark Art Society movement.
In recent years he’s leaned more into personal IPs and publishing/gallery work, while still taking commissions and selling originals/prints through his storefront.
